I'm in Harbin, Heilongjiang province... known to most of us as the home of bxliu. It's pretty awesome; there is a lot of Russian influence in the architecture. Many of the buildings are protected under the local historical society, having first been built by Russians in the early 1900s. Unfortunately, the weather is not nearly as cool as I thought it would be... only a degree or two cooler than Beijing.
