Never fly through Philadelphia. The airport is poorly designed; the check-in counters are understaffed; there is always at least a twenty minute delay once on the runway...
Nevertheless, after a thirteen hour flight from Chicago, I am here in Beijing. The first thing I see after exiting customs is Starbucks, sandwiched between KFC and McDonald's. I also saw a Papa John's, which definitely wasn't doing business in China two years ago.
