I get to go to Earlham tomorrow!!!!!! I get to see my profs again :-)
I also get to ride a bus for 12 hrs each way and get off at 2am and 5am (roughly) into a bright filthy station while the bus re-fuels. I am hoping to get a certain amount of knitting done, though I want to sleep as well.

I have been facing rising guilt. I didn't do Knitting Olympics because I didn't want to wait that long to start knitting, but I did knit up a major storm. I did 8 hats, a scarf, a vest, a pair and a half of mittens (yes I will finish the 4th mitten), and almost all of a sweater (still needs about half a sleeve, already assembled). I was really proud of my not so little pile. 3 weeks ago. only one problem, it hasn't grown much since then. While I know that I did the sweater in that time, it still feels like I've done practically nothing. I really must do a quickie-type hat or three.

partly, my pile of Dulaan goodies feels so small because I have already submitted half of it, and I have no pictures of it, so it is easy to forget how much was there. This is what I have done http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=9283563&uid=4142629

I have also been on a reading kick to give my wrists a bit of a vacation. This is important for my continued ability to knit, but I still feel guilty. I'm Jewish, I'm allowed. Now all I need to do is to use that guilt to inspire me to get more done.
