..So, would anyone care explaining to me just how these pokemon things reproduce? Because... Honestly, this makes no sense. When that egg started to hatch, I was expecting a bird, or a lizard, or... You know,

There are some mammals that do hatch from eggs. Echidnas are an example of this.

Well yeah, monotremes lay eggs. Pigs on the other hand, don't. And as far as I can tell, all pokemon hatch from eggs. Then again, looking at some of the crap that goes on in this crazy world, it's not that alarming.
