Ipody Goodness

I have an ipod nano. I picked it up from the fedex shop yesterday. I'm still trying to find out the finer details of playlists and such, but it is mad cool.

If you haven't heard the whole story, after my landlady made it clear that I shouldn't listen to music late at night, I started using my mp3 cd player a lot. It's a few years old, and so are most of the cds I've got burned for it. I went to burn more, and the cd burner on my computer wasn't working. Then, I dropped the cd player and the latch that keeps the cover closed broke.

It was time. The gods were telling me to buy an Ipod :-D

So I did. They're damned expensive toys, and the big ones are way more than I need. So I spent less money (though not much less) and got the much smaller nano, which will easily hold as much music as I listen to regularly.

It is tiny. I couldn't possibly imagine how small it is. Like, the sixe of a credit card. I'm afraid I'll loose the damn thing! The face of it also smudges very easily- the first thing I did when I got it was crocheted a little ipod cozy to hold me till the hard case ships (it's backordered). And I now have easy accessible music with me on campus.

I can listen to the Jerry Springer Opera in the computer lab :-D. Happy ipody goodness.
