Yes I loved it. I really didn't like Jo and the Doctor's heart to heart on the planet. She's jealous of Amy and Rory?!? Cause they could travel after they got married? Well Jo you never asked. (I realize that's a Rusty clever inside joke ... but come on it's not a good one.) It really wasn't much different than School reunion either. I did get teary though because it was sweet ( ... )

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I LOVED the shout-outs, but it's a bit lame that those (and the flashbacks) were the only good bits!

My fanon is that Ace running a charity is a cover story for something much bigger and Sarah Jane just hasn't figured that out yet.

As much as I love Sarah Jane, I like the idea of Ace pulling one over on her.

In my fanon this will be one of Ace's many long term assignments while she's still traveling the Doctor, cause I think they are going someplace bigger than that.

Hope Cardiff doesn't put the kibosh on what ever Big Finish is building up to now (might be an academic point, because while I think Big Finish is building to something ... I'm not sure they'll ever get there. Why write Ace out if you don't have too...

I don't see how one throw-away mention by RTD in a spin-off can put the kibosh on Big Finish's plans. And I've seen some people claiming that Dorothy is actually a reference to Dodo (because obviously everyone knows Dodo's really Dorothy - well, I didn't!)

My mother's name is Dorothy and her nickname as a kid was Dodo (she hated it). Though I read on the BF forums that Dodo's full name was Dorothea (not sure where that was established). Someone else pointed out that the name of Dorothy's organisation is A.C.E. (which I find to be a rather dumb RTDism ... but would make a great name for a fic)!
