My reaction can be summed up in one word: Ugh!!

- Pompous voice over is pompous. Are you THAT desperate for work now, Dalton??

- Why does the v/o refer to the pagan rite, but not Xmas?

- Wilf apparently is the only one who's not forgotten the bad dreams...

- There's an image of the TARDIS in a stained glass window in a church that used to be a convent in the 13th century. Something fell from the sky and the Doctor turned up to stop it - is this a ref to a Classic Who episode?

- Oh here we go - it's the bit they used for the CiN trailer. And I STILL hate it with a fiery passion. The locking the TARDIS with his key joke is only funny if you've the sense of humour of a five year old. And the reference to 'Queen Bess' (ie Elizabeth I) is tasteless and juvenile (oh well, that's RTD all over isn't it? This IS the man who gave us farting aliens after all!)

- Events that have happened are happening now. Um, what?

- So Lucy Saxon was tried in secret, without a jury and then locked up in HMS Broadfell?

- The Secret Books of Saxon - so secret no one's ever heard of them until now...

- Lucy Saxon doesn't want the Master back? She's not THAT stupid, then!

- Wilf's calling himself Paratroop 1...

- Wait, the Master's got Superpowers now??

- 18.21 pm. Bored now! *Yawns*

- Minnie, Wilf's friend, is feeling up the Doctor's bum. That's only the second time he's been goosed (Martha smacked him lightly on the bum after she enters the TARDIS towards the end of '42')

- Ten and Wilf go to a cafe to talk, and Ten asks Wilf who he is, saying people wait centuries to find him, and he did it in a couple of hours. (ME: And Donna managed to find him again, don't forget!)

- Wilf led Ten to that particular cafe, despite passing loads of others, because he knew Donna was parked nearby. He begs Ten to 'fix' her. She's engaged but not earning much, and her fella's on minimum wage. Rusty, you BASTARD!

- Wilf says that Donna would make Ten laugh again.

- Ten makes a brief reference to the events on Mars (WoM)

- Another pompous voiceover!

- 18:30 - closing credits now please!

- The confrontation between Ten and the Master looks like a shite video game.

- The Master refers to his father's estates on Gallifrey.

- The Doctor says the Master's resurrection went wrong and his body's being destroyed. This is a GOOD thing!

- The Master does the old fingers-to-temples trick on Ten and he hears the drums.

- Then a bunch of SAS types in black turn up and kidnap the Master and knock out Ten.

- Donna gives Wilf a copy of 'Fighting the Future' by Joshua Naismith.

- Oh! The old woman who was talking to Wilf in the church is now on his telly talking to him. She says that Wilf never killed a man during his service in WW2, and says the Doctor's life might still be saved.

- LOL! Wilf thought the TARDIS interior would be cleaner!

- Okay, Naismith's got a couple of green spiky aliens, not unlike the cyborg from Titanic in Space (TM), working for him...

- Naismith tells the Master that "The Gate" was found at the foot of Mt Snowdon after the spaceship carrying it crashed. Torchwood acquired it, and after Torchwood (Three, presumably) fell, Naismith got hold of it.

- Okay so the Gate thing's an Immortality Gate according to Naismith and he wants it to make his daughter immortal. Sheesh!

- Ten refers to the Master as 'Skeletor' - so he doesn't know what a Science Geek is (cf The Lazarus Experiment) but he's heard of Skeletor. Rusty go AWAY, you're rubbish!

- So, according to the spiky green aliens (didn't catch their name and don't much care!), the Gate is actually a medical device that can repair the body, but does whole planets as well. (Whu?!)

- Donna rings Wilf (who's with Ten at Naismith's place) as everyone apart from Ten, Wilf and Donna turn into the Master. LITERALLY! It's the SIMS!!!!!

So, 60 minutes of pompous, overweening and tedious tripe. I will watch End of Tennant Part 2 - but only out of morbid curiosity.
