So, way back in 1990, young Mr Ben Daniels appeared alongside Patrick Malahide in The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries: Death at the Bar. He played Norman Cubitt, a painter, whose boyfriend was a cousin of the murder victim in this story. ( Read more... )

Not wishing to ignore your pretty pics (very nice), but how was it as a dramatisation of Ngaio Marsh? I love those books, but wouldn't want to waste time chasing a not-so-good TV version of them. *is intrigued*

TBH it's SO long (about 20 years) since I read the Marsh books, that I honestly can't say. However, I do plan to borrow the novel from the library for a re-read.

Hasn't he just aged well. I think he's more attractive now, almost 20 years later, than he was then!
