I love this and I can't wait for more.

I can see Rose reacting this way if he does regenerate. Yay for green eyed Doctor. *drools*

I hope to have part 2 up in a few days. I need to finish writing it - and then get it beta-read - but I be wrestling so many other bunnies!! o_O

After The Stolen Earth, definitely!

Yay for green eyed Doctor. *drools*

Alt-Martha agrees with you! :D

I really like alt Martha fics, though in this one it seems like Martha is going to turn out to evil or something.

What a lovely narrative - can't wait for part two! Thank goodness it will be along so soon!

He had no idea what had possessed Jackie to start referring to both himself and the Doctor as 'plum', but it had stuck, and since it was obviously meant affectionately he didn't bother protesting after the first time.

Yay: I love that despite antipathy towards Rose you are nevertheless generous with your interpretation of the rest of the Tyler gang, especially Jackie. It demonstrates real class with your writing of characters.

As a human male he'd had to make a conscious effort to control his own urges, something he hadn't always succeeded in doing, although as the weeks since his arrival in this universe had passed, things had settled down sufficiently that he was no longer having to change his pyjamas and sheets twice a night.

Poor Handy; he's had to learn how to be handy! (sorry, that's a terrible 'joke' for something that written with such honesty and sensitivity... apologies)

Yeah - I do have to finish writing it first though...

I've grown to love Jackie. She is a classy lady underneath her bluster, and obviously very caring.

I'll let you off!

Awh, poor boy. Throwing up on someone really isn't a good start to a friendship!

No - it'd make him memorable - but not in a good way!

Oooh, sassy Martha! But I totally get how the eyes would get to her.

This one's very sassy!!

mind, at this rate the green eyes will go blind...

LOL!

Oh YES. There is something delicious about the way that man can smile - whatever role he plays

Yup!

That's funny, I had ( ... )

No apology needed! I love lengthy feedback, esp when people tell me what they liked or want to discuss a plot point.

Oh, man! This is so incredibly wonderful! I've got so many questions--Martha's backstory, what's behind the locked door at Torchwood, what's going on in Pete's mind. But the neatest thing is the idea that he's so wrapped up in his memories that he's almost narcoleptic; I don't know if that's what you intended, but the idea is intriguing--like he's got three people warring for control of his mind.

Anyway, can't wait to see what happens next; this is brilliantly done!

I wasn't really going for narcolepsy, since that's a sleep disorder, more for his state to resemble a form of schizophrenia...

Thanks. I'm working on finishing part two even now!

Sorry--sometimes I need that button on the comment feature...

I think I just meant that he'd look like a waking narcoleptic, just falling off into reverie at any time. I see the schizophrenia--very interesting read of the way the Time Lord/Human metacrisis would manifest for him! I hope he can get some help or that it doesn't get worse.

Don't worry, Martha's got his back.
