i'm not doing so well

hello all. i had my recital and it was fantastic. i kicked some serious ass.

now in other news. my grandmother was in a car accident 5 weeks ago last wednesday. she broke her right ankle, left knee and right arm. anyways, she's been in the hospital all of this time and we almost lost her due to tons of complications. but yesterday they found the source of the problem...she has a large bacterial growth on the inside of her heart, which is called endocarditis. anyways, this thing is apparently huge and moves with each beat of her heart and showers off little bits of the bacterial colony into different parts of her body. so now she's unconscious and unresponsive for the last 3 days, her kidneys are shutting down, she's not breathing on her own so she's hooked up to a respiratory machine. anyways, so it's coming down to the end. all of her children are down here and we signed the Do Not Resuscitate papers this morning. so i guess i'm just asking for your thoughts and prayers for me and my family. we're all kind of going through alot right now. thanks, mary
