Situation update:
I took two days of vacation and spent yesteday with tremir at Ein Dor. He is sunburned, badly mosquito-bitten and rather pissed about how the army manages its resources (it doesn't, really), but otherwise well.
I spent my time with him snoozing, watching him play rather silly computer games, reading, and telling him some very ridiculous theories of mine. And apparently we're going to de-filk "Green Hills of Harmony" to something vaguely political.
He went back this morning, but I'm sure they'll let him go soon, and that he'll be finished with army stuff for this year by the next weekend at worst.
Earlier this week, there was a filksing. Which was fun, but, um. I hate to say it, but a filksing where the only participants who know the music and can carry a tune are myself and lovechilde, who simply won't sing loudly enough, has some problems. But, still, fun.
On unrelated news, I also managed to find out my borders weren't set quite where I thought they were, freak out about it, then decide that it's okay and all to the good. I'm still very young, and there are a lot of things I don't know yet.
