CAR TIME NOW.
The good news: my mom has a new car meaning her Malibu, which I drove religiously during high school and vacations, is now mine.
I JUST GOT MY FIRST CAR.
This is amazing! I'm not looking forward to getting new tires and filling said vehicle with gas, but WOW, IT'S MINE. I HAVE A THING THAT'S MINE AND I CAN DRIVE IT.
The bad news: the family's new car is a used SUV. Oops. I know we're not in the income bracket that could easily afford a hybrid. The car looks nice despite it's bad reputation. There is a little guilt here, though.
But, says a small voice inside my head which is clearly not my environmental conscience, at least I have a car?
