8-9 month update
V is doing new things all the time, and just surprising me all over the place. She's been especially cute lately. She likes to play with the volume on the CD player (which sits on our floor). She'll go over to it, cautiously, and turn it, then sit back very quickly, and look at it. Then she looks at us, like she was just sitting there, and it *magically* changed all by itself! She's too cute. And we do pee and poop in the potty on a semi regular basis. Several times a day. Here are some other cute things she's done in the past couple days:
The other night, a cricket got in to our apt, and she spotted it, fixated on it, and crawled toward it. It hopped away from her (of course) and she paused, and went to it. It hopped again, and she crawled. Repeat all the way across the apt, til it finally got away from her.
Today, she decided to use her toy basket to help her reach the middle of the coffee table, and couldn't figure out how to get back out, so I"m over here on the comp, and I hear her whine. I look behind me, and I see her standing at the table. I come around the corner, and there she is standing in her basket! Is it bad of me that I reached for the camera before I helped her out?
And later today, we went outside, and she was playing on our cement porch. Instead of crawling (OUCH), she got up on her hands and feet, and walked around that way! It was too cute! (I was sure she was just gonna stand up!- she didn't)
Oh, and last night, she started clapping her hands while we were playing patty cake!
The other day, daddy showed her how to push the door open with her hands, so now she can get into even MORE mischief!
She loves to be read to, and she loves to play with her toothbrush. But no more teeth coming through yet!
