7 month update
Yes, I know I'v been horribly remiss in keeping everyone up to date, but it seems like most of her development has slowed down. But here is what I wrote to my due date club about V's development at 7 months.
V is just 7 months old. She has two bottom teeth, and
two more popping through on the top that's giving her
a bit of trouble. She started crawling about a month
ago, and is pulling up on things, trying to stand! She
even goes one handed, lil daredevil! :) She's into
EVERYTHING, which I expected, but it's driving her
daddy crazy. :) We started solids at right about 6
months, and she's had tomato, green bean, spinach,
mashed potato, applesauce, an apple wedge, and a
carrot. She liked the carrot and appley things, and
potato, but she isn't too fond of the green things.
:)She's still 99.9% breastfed, however. When she's not
teething, she's sleeping better than she ever has,
waking only once or twice a night to nurse, and not
needing any help getting back to sleep. She says
"Mama", and knows who she's talking about. :) Not much
else by way of words other than babbling. I think
that's all. Oh, we peed in the potty yesterday, but
until it happens more regularly, I'm not calling it
EC. However, it was a step in the right direction! :)
