2 posts in 1 day! I have a life.

Anyway. I have a VYou. Ask me questions. It makes me feel loved.

Questions- the odder the better. Especially as concerns fandom.

Further- Springfest has begun. Which basically means the majority of the student body will be entirely inebriated for days, starting yesterday morning and ending probably on monday morning. As someone who does not drink heavily, for me that just means that the wifi is much less crowded. I have a life >D

I am on the verge of deciding what my major and minor will be, and I think I've taken a major flipturn.  I came into this year as a biology major considering a minor in philosophy, but now I'm considering being a philosophy major and minoring in biology.  Since I don't know exactly what I want to do for a career, I feel like philosophy may be the best choice for me because it will teach me how to work effectively in any field, whereas i just like biology.  Also, as I progress through the biology coursework, it is becoming increasingly difficult for me to rationalize the work that I am doing on a moral level.  So many animals are killed per biology student, which would be okay if it were serving a greater purpose, but it isn't.  It bothers me. On an unrelated note, I just like the philosophy department more than the biology department.

Further, that could allow me to get into other areas of study that I would not otherwise have time for, such as international relations, or /physics/. And if I'm lucky I could do a year abroad instead of just a semester, because I would have time for all of my courses anyway, AND my brain won't be entirely raped and pillaged by my courseload, which it would/will be next semester, should I remain a bio major.  It could get me an advisor who knows what he/she is doing, and will get to know me as a person, instead of just a cookie-cutter bio major.

Thoughts, anyone? Have any of you been through a decision like this before?

Also: Glee. I want gifs of that episode. Especially the Born This Way bit. Can anyone else see Chris Colfer being an awesome supervillain?

irl fun, school crap, perplexity's pulpit, real-world weirdness, omnivore adventures
