As if things couldn't have gotten any worse...
5:22pm 5+ Simple Partial w/Secondary Generalizations Seizures in a row, lasting about 10+ min. long. I could barely walk after-wards and I had a light sense of nausea.
5:38pm Another Simple Partial w/Secondary Generalizations, lasting about 4min. long. My senses of feeling nauseated was increasing.
6:04pm Another Simple Partial w/Secondary Generalizations, lasting about 2min. Severe sense of nausea and trembling.
6:38pm Another Simple Partial w/Secondary Generalizations, lasting about 3min. My senses of feeling nauseated were decreasing. Extreme trembles.
6:56pm Simple Partial Seizure, lasted about 1min. Nausea got to me so bad I was up so quick and racing into the bathroom. Severe trembles.
That was a total of over 9 seizures in aprox. an hour and a half. Not something that I usually have to deal with or ever had. I had to put in an emergency call to the hospital and have the doctor call the pharmacy to get me some Lorazepam to take immediately. If it hadn't taken care of the problem I would have had to have gone in for more blood tests today. I already have an EEG scheduled for the 27th of June and I now have an apt. with a Psychologist on Wednesday.
The Lorazepam helped but it made me out to be loopy as hell. The walls were spinning, I could barely stand on my own and I was seeing everything in double. Eek! Well at least I was no longer having to constantly grasp ahold of my magnet to turn on my VNS Implant every other minute, which really doesn't seem to be helping much anymore anyway.
Nick stayed and worked from home today to assure that he could be here for me if needed and will be doing the same tomorrow as well. He never left my side the entire time yesterday while I was going in and out of seizures and is still here beside me now. I never thought I could find anybody that would be able to handle the pressure and challenge that my disability can bestow upon a relationship. I guess I was wrong. I love you so much Nick.
