"Don't depend on things you think will always be there"
Sometimes, I go to school, and I wonder what its worth. I mean, its not like I'm going to learn anything useful. Its not like I'm going to learn how to pick locks, or light fireworks or make waffles. Its not like I get to learn how to get along with people, how to be more understanding, or how to be nicer. Instead, I get to learn about what transitional verbs and how to say rollerskates in spanish. What are the chances I'll use this?
ex 1: "Well, I was going to hire you for the job, but you dont know what a silioquiy is. And I'm afriad that is just not acceptable if you want to succeed at life."
ex 2: "I would marry you, but its just...you dont know how to get the area of a n-gon in square feet. Sorry, but what kind of an influence would you be on the kids?"
