Throbbing, Quick-Fixes, and One Dead Person Out of Millions in the Last Ten Years

Long story short, on Friday I smashed my left thumb while closing a car door. It could have been worse; the point of impact was about halfway along the nail-covered part, thus shielding the bone to a degree and preventing a fracture, and far from the joint which may have resulted in dislocation. i know im guilty of extending my problems more than i should. i have a really bad habbit of doing it. for whatever reason i cling to hurt and sorrow. why, i don't know. but i really need to start feeling better.

A lot of people hold on to the sorrow. For some, it makes them feel better about themselves to act the victim; I dunno, maybe they think it's a testimony to their emotional endurance if they pretend that this was a deliberate attack that has taxed them so much, and yet they still live on. Or maybe it's just something to think about for a while, only the focus causes more pain. I don't know for sure, but I do know that pretty much everyone does it. Don't feel bad about it.

i think i just think about things too much and that drags the pain on. i've had that problem for a long time.
