Okay, so last night while I was being a loser and totally staying in and on the computer well past midnight, I asked a couple of friends to give me one-liner prompts so I could practice. Here are the results:

It wasn’t that Kira didn’t like playing in the snow well enough, and it was flattering that Gin had exclaimed, “This one is Kira and this one is me!” so enthusiastically when they’d started, but the blonde felt just a little bit uncomfortable with the way his captain’s snowmen were positioned, wondering if it was appropriate to display something like that in the middle of the third division courtyard.

When Urahara walked by his workstation and glanced over Mayuri’s shoulder at the equation he’d been working on for the past four days, the blonde captain chuckled and ruffled the younger shinigami’s hair before exclaiming, “Ah, close, Mayu-chan, close… just one significant digit off!” loudly and cheerfully enough for several of the surrounding workstations to hear. Mayuri flushed with embarrassment and Urahara smiled, complimenting him on how cute he was when his cheeks got all pink like that. Mayuri seethed, vowing to find a way someday, to make it impossible for anyone to ever see him blush again.

Most of the time it was difficult for Zangetsu to discern because it rained so much in Ichigo’s inner world, but the zanpakutou thought that every once in a while, if he strained hard enough, he could feel the warmth of spring in the atmosphere around him when Ichigo smiled. So he sat in his rain-filled world and waited for those rare glimpses of light from his brilliant sun, thinking to himself that soon, soon, he would find away, find the strength to make it possible for that smile to shine down on him always.

Akon rolled his eyes and decided that maybe he shouldn’t have called Renji an uncultured brute the other day, as he’d been forced to listen to the redhead’s horrible mangling of the German language all day today, the vice-captain trying to ‘expand his horizons’ via one of the scientist’s readily available textbooks. Really, the only word that idiot would ever need in German was “lager” anyway.

He’d gotten a stinging cut on his lip during the bar brawl Iba initiated tonight, and while he’d been pissed at the idiot then-- it hurt, dammit-- Shuuhei thought that maybe he ought to thank Tetsuzaemon later, because Yumi had sighed and fussed over him the moment he’d seen his bloodied lover, the fifth chair murmuring sweetly before taking Shuuhei’s face in his hands and kissing it all better.

Yep, I'll hang around here often cause I really enjoy reading your fics a lot. Especially the Shuumi ones ^^, but any pairing you wrote is being written so well, so I'll definitely read 'em all. :) The Shuumi arc (where Yumi becomes Shuuhei's VC) and its accompaniment Ikkaku/Kira arc are two of my personal faves. They're awesome. &heart;

Haha and I'm ecstatic that you liked those arcs, though it's looking like at best, they'll be reversed in canon. I am crossing my fingers for Yumi to take over the ninth and Ikkaku to take over the third... XD
