and i'll be makin' history.
♥Give this song another listen:
Close your eyes.
Listen to my voice; it's my disguise
I'm by your side.
Oh, it's what you do to me.
Oh, it's what you do to me.
Ummm, I am completely in love with every aspect of this song.
Work is going well, friends are going well, and I haven't ever felt so wonderful.
I'm taking a combination of an anti-depressant and an anti-panic, and I'm currently getting hold of my life again. I wish I had started this a long, long time ago, but there's not much that I can do about that now.
In terms of work, I am so happy to be surrounded by the people that I am. I have made new friends, and became closer with people who I've watched from afar for years. There are people who I've admired, and people who I've blushed for, and now, we're working together.
I am so happy to be the quirky, silly boss that I consider myself to be. We've had our first trip, and I consider it to have been of huge success. I love the children in the camps, and I love getting to feel whole-ly and completely like myself. I feel that I've grown into what I've always wanted to be, and into how I've always wanted to feel. It's wonderful.
September is starting to look like a new opportunity to figure out my future, in a new place and a new time. I've been semi-house shopping, and have mild ideas of where & who I want to be with. Today is sunny.
On Wednesday, Steph, Andrew, Katelyn and I will be trekking out to the driving range, to learn a little about golf. Friday the 13th proved to be filled with bad news and good news, but mostly, it was filled with Berry-Go-Round and Tip-Top rides, with Dilly, Scott, Nicole and Rebecca, and with drinks with friends, sing-alongs, wizardry, 4am phone calls, parking-lot picnics, spiders' nests, 289 pictures, hats, hugs, kisses, goodbyes, and camper-party sleepovers.
I've purchased a new Fujifilm camera. It's bulky, and black, practical and cute. It has a lot of features, and buttons, and options and stuff. I'm still learning how to use it, but I'm very happy. I also bought energizer rechargable batteries, a charger, a 1gig memory card, an unsquishable camera case, and some extra batteries. Nothing makes me quite as happy as spending money on new and exciting things. I love her, and she loves me, and soon, we're going on a photo-taking spree. Rhyming is cool.
Things are swell.
Delilah, I can promise you
that by the time we get through,
the world will never, ever, be the same,
and you're to blame.
