Am I ready for the weekend?

Not sure, but here it is :)

I forgot to mention that I also deep fried 4 pounds of tofu the other day. LOL! Only way I like tofu....and I LOVE it like this :) It is in my freezer too now.

As are five containers of beef stew. I have one double sized container in my fridge with the dregs and the extra sauce. Not sure what to do with it, might just eat it. (Shocking, I know!)

Took a shower at the start of my day today...weird choice, considering how messy I've been.

Got Gumbo in a pot on the stove and chicken soup in the crockpot now. Woot!

Gumbo was as easy as I fortunately remembered.

stick of butter and 1/2 cup of flour for the roux. Cook that up.
Mix in a TON of spices, whatever you like.
I had 1 T Garlic powder, 1 T Onion powder, 1 T Italian Herbs, 1/4 T Celery seed, 1 T of a spicy blend, 1 T Tarragon, 1 T Cumin, 1 T Coriander. I'm out of Cayenne and paprika, darn it.
Popped in my cooked, cubed chicken and some cooked mild italian sausage too.
Added a pound of baby carrots
About 8 medium sized potatoes (whites)
12 cups of chicken stock/bullion
8 packs of hot sauce and the remainder of the salsa I had in the fridge
1/4 c of Worcestershire sauce.

Bring to a boil, then reduce and cook.

I'll cook that until the potatoes and carrots are edible, then add a package of frozen sliced okra and cook all of that until it dissolves.

The chicken soup was simply:
Plop frozen carrots, spinach, green beans in the crockpot. Add two sliced zucchini, some chicken, onion powder, garlic powder, italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and enough chicken stock/bullion to cover it all. Turn on the crockpot and wait! :D

We'll see how those turn out!

Also ran my dishwasher, scrubbed my tub, and washed out my bathroom sink. Look at me be all domestic! :D
