Another day another update and Thankful Meme #6
So, LadyD might go home tomorrow :-) Her new room is much nicer than the one she had been in...separate bathroom, fewer machines...her being all perky and alert and everything... She said she even took a couple of walks around the ward today :-)
On the homefront, I went through the Talking Books catalogue with LadyD's Mom and we picked out a few for her to request tomorrow. Popped the last of the laundry into the dryer (the clean laundry is sitting on the couch ready to be folded!), cleared away the path to LadyD's bathroom (ie, put the tubs o'stuff on the pile in the Family Room, nice and neat)...and cleaned out the kitchen refrigerator. This involved transferring items back and forth between the two fridges until *all* the jams and preserves were in one and *all* the jars of pickles were in the other, throwing out food that had gone bad (did you know it was possible for Velveeta to go bad??) and washing out the veggie drawers (the contents of one had...gooed to the extent that the bag it was in stuck to the drawer...I dislike opaque veggie drawers!). Woof!
Today I am Thankful For: People who write and publish those stories for my entertainment :-) Yes, all you authors, of both Original Fictions and Fan Fictions, I am thankful for you!
