The Latest on LadyD and my Thankful Meme Day 5
Lady D woke me up yesterday to tell me that they were moving her to "Progressive Care"...which is fancy talk for "ICU-lite." Wooo!
Today she woke me up to tell me that the meds they gave her made her chatty (NO! Really?? LOL!) and that (drumroll please) they are talking about sending her home tomorrow! Wooo Hooo!
But my heavens, I still have so much to do at her house... *sigh* I understand why she gets discouraged...it is a daunting task. But once it is done, hopefully it will be easier to maintain.
Anyway, today I am Thankful For: Having friends to play D&D with! :-) (And dice that sometimes let my character make her saves!)
Yesterday I played the Elven "Ranger" (read: Rogue). I am in two other games where I play a Dwarven Cleric and a Human Ranger (a real one!) And yes, the actual ranger did name her second animal companion (basically a jaguar with the coloration of a flame point siamese) after the DM's own cat to keep it from dying, too. LOL!
I so enjoy playing D&D...I get to kill things and take their stuff and gain levels! Very therapeutic after a bad day ;-)
