Long time no posting…

In reverse order:
I have an appointment for more color work on my red fish Friday night. I’m excited the first batch of red from a month ago looks good, really good. I’ve decided to turn it into a full suit and Adam and I are working on how that will look. No pressure, I still have hours of color on the fish before we can even think about water and lilies and bugs and …

I turn 29 on the 29th of May. The day came and went without much fuss, and that was fine by me. The following Friday was a merry rock climbing adventure and all that were able to attend had a smashing good time. Only forcemequeen actually “smashed.” Though she only fell about one foot and was safe the whole time, I’m glad it wasn’t me as I think I would have peed myself and all those below. I really enjoyed it and plan to organize another adventure in a month or two. After I heal from surgery I may get a membership. Funny how I’m still terrified of heights but climbing a 40’ wall appeals to me.

Across the street in the vacant strip of land the neighborhood is creating a community garden/natural habitat. I’ve signed up with the project and even made a new friend. Weird.

I decide to become a Master Gardener ™. I love plants and gardening, sustainability and natural building methods. I love talking about it and sharing what I know with others. Kind of a no-brainer. I started studying a minimum of one hour a day to get ready for classes in the winter. I hope I am accepted into the program. If I don’t make it in this year, it’s okay. I’ll have a jump start for next year. Depending on the employment situation I may go done to Corvallis for three days to go to the Benton county mini-college.

About work… I don’t like my job. Nothing is glaringly horrible (though the incompetence and religious banter are not pleasant), but it’s definitely not a good fit, and it seems as though it is starting to be noticed. I’m patiently waiting for plan B to be in effect and then I can jump this ship and re-start my career in real estate with someone I respect. Details when it happens.
