That makes me fucking SICK!! If he or the majority of those passengers had been white then he would be "a hero who valiantly commandeered (or found) transportation in a daring rescue" but instead he and all his passengers are black so they stole a city school bus, he looted New Orleans, and he might face charges!!
If it weren’t for this kid “breaking the law” that eight day old baby and many others on that bus would probably be dead right now.
Everyone is bitching about the looters in N.O. - these people are desperate and just trying to survive. Tell me that you wouldn't break some laws if your life or the lives of your loved ones were in danger. And yes there are thugs out there stealing TVs and raping women but this kid isn't one of those people and all of them are getting lumped in together as "looters." People are desperate, scared, stressed to the breaking point, hungry, angry, and dying - let's cut them some slack, huh? Even the ones stealing TVs - there are more valuable and more important things to worry about than TVs.
