Instead of actually trying, then, I sent my mother a text message about half an hour ago with the blatant lie of "I'm pregnant. :("
About a minute later, she texts back "Me too! And it's twins!"
Apparently I'm soon to have two half-siblings. Their father, she claims, is David Cook.
