Quiet in here ...

Hi LJ land!

SO it's kinda quiet in here but it's ok ... i'll just write anyways.

First:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GREY_WONDERER!!!

She is seemingly pretty busy these days-- working a lot! But yeah, thanks fro always being there for me and being my hobbity partner in crime. ;)

Secondly,
Love this quote :

An overwhelming longing to rest and remain at peace by Bilbo's side in Rivendell filled all his heart. At last with an effort he spoke, and wondered to hear his own words, as if some other will was using his small voice.
"I will take the Ring," he said., "Though i do not know the way." -FotR

<3

I am rereading at the moment and many instances like these strike me and make me fall in love all over again. Does that happen to you too when you reread?

Another heart-trending moment:

Grief at last wholly overcame the, and they wept long; some standing and silent, some cast upon the ground. Doom, doom. The drum-beats faded. -FOtR

How perfectly did they capture that in that movie? I am always crying at Dimrill Dale along with our characters when Gandalf falls, book or movie rewatch/reread. :****(

Also, have a question:
What does this mean at the end of Lothlorien chapter?
And taking Frodo's hand in his, he left the hill of Cerin Amroth and came there never again as living man.

Does this mean he never went to Cerin Amroth again? I think it's that but for some reason i always thought there was a deeper meaning. Maybe i'm thinking too much into it. ;)

#questions that need answering?

happy birthday, book love, lotr bows to no one, lotr fandom is forever
