Its a start...
So those two flats we wanted to look at have been taken already and after visiting 10+ lettings/estate agents today NONE of them had any sort of one bedroomed accomodation for rent, no flat or bungalows or anything. aparently they're being snatched up as soon as they hit the market, so its a case of checking the net daily for new places available and making viewings asap to try and get ahead of everyone else.
Tina's being really helpful. She said she's willing to part exchange a bungalow in Norfolk for a place down here for me and Spooner to live in and the rent we give her will be whatever the council will give us in housing benefits which is good. if anyone knows of any good house exchange websites or company's please help me out, can't find any lol. she said that if we move to a private rented flat she's willing to pay the money we'd need upfront like first months rent, deposit and what not, and she'd be our guarantor so that's good, but hopefully it wont even come to that. Family Mosaic called me earlier, they're coming round tomorrow at half 10 to take down my details and shit, said it'd take about 45 mins to an hour. not that happy about people who are potentially putting a roof over my head coming round here and meeting my flat mates and seeing the state of the place, but i'll be damned if i'm cleaning up their mess, and i've already said there are gonna be important people here tomorrow so everyones gotta stay out the way. Apparently Family Mosaic own a bunch of properties they rent to registered people, which i'm becoming tomorrow, so hopefully they've got some nice places in the area we can move into fairly soon.
Ideally i wanna be in a new place by the end of this week; i know thats being optomistic but someone needs to move into this room and sign the tenancy application form otherwise ARIM (thats the landlord agents) are going to get very annoyed coz its been a month since we were supposed to sign the new tenancy and we've still not found a new tenant yet. although its no longer my responsibility i don't wanna leave Jon stranded as he's still a good mate of mine, its just Barry and Amanda i couldn't give a crap about, they're both pissing me off. but hopefully Family Mosaic can help me out soon and me and Spooner can move into a new place before too long. can't wait to move out and be living with my new family instead of a bunch of mates, getting really excited now, but still stressed out about it. but these things take time so fingers crossed hopefully it won't take too much time lol
