So life is intensely busy at the moment.

I got hired by the City Aquatics Dept, as a lifeguard/swimming instructor.
I've done one week of work, nad honestly its amazing!
However, I hate how parents don't tell us if their kids have an illness/disability/disease.
Its something that we NEED to know. In my swimming classes theres a boy who has some severity of autism, another who probably has aspergers, and another girl who when i asked her if she could put her face in the water told me, "i have a disease and its hard to breathe".
I'm sorry, but wtf, maybe if you told me exactly what your kid has, I could change my marking scheme for them to match their ability or teach a different way so its easier for them to learn.
And when it comes to the girl with the 'disease', fuck, knowing what she has would be VERY beneficial to me. Its to the point of a health and safety risk. If something were to happen i wouldn'tknow how to cater to her needs.
I don't understand the whole mentality of, "if i tell them about the problem, they'll treat them differently"..... thats exactly the point! maybe if I'm told whats going on with the kid, they'll be able to pass the class/level.

I have a 2 hour mocktrial meeting tonight... I'm going but i'm not even sure if i'm on the team anymore. I talked to Ms.Mitchell and she just heard that people who were participated in Mock trial last year cannot participate again.... it was never said at any meetings, however its what all the other school's coaches are saying. This is the second year my school has done it, so Ms.Mitchell will be confirming this soon...
If i can't be on the team i think i might slit someone's throat.

when i was driving home today, my speedometer wasn't working...
it said i was going, '0km/hr' and i was definitely going 60.
So i then thought, "when the Aerostar's radio doesn't work, Halli hits the top of the dashboard and that fixes it."
So, as a joke i decided to hit the top of the dashboard....
and it started working!! hahahaha
random enough, but SO awesome!

Tyler is coming up on the weekend for Easter, and will be home for a week before exams start. wooo!

I'm overloaded with work in my english class...a class has never stressed me out so much before this class.

anyway i must go to my meeting.
love you all, sorry i don't write here much anymore.
