i realized that i've been a bit homesick lately. i was telling my mom that all i wanted to do was come home. even if it was only for a day. her response was a typical response that would come only from someone who knows me as well as she does. her reply was "that's a shame. it'll be over soon. walk it off." yup. her answer to everything. even

it seems that i'm not going to have any free time this trip home after all. i won't be making it back to PA until late on saturday night. then on sunday, my father told me that he has something planned for he and i. of course me being the complete ass that i am, i accepted without even realizing that it was going to be mother's day. so after my hair appointment on monday afternoon, i have to meet up with my mom for dinner before driving back to cinci overnight
