Story#5 - "My Last Breath" (Degrassi: The Next Generation - Ashley/Manny)

his story is by far the one that provokes the "raised eyebrows" response from other people since I wrote it in 2005 when they read the summary or even just the pairing in and of itself. With all of the tension that these two carry for one another throughout the series, especially since it seems to be motivated by a guy, there really seems to be no plausibility for this. Maybe everyone's right and I really am just the crazy one, but I guess I just see tension as a great vehicle for passion sometimes, which is a lot of what this story encompasses! Even if you're skeptical, give it a read and let me know if I convinced you, even just a little bit. ;) The title is once again taken from an Evanescence song, as is a section of lyrics included in the fic itself.
