Tis the season...for festivals. On second thought when is it ever not time for a festival? Ryukyu University had their annual...something or other festival yesterday and MaryAnn and I were lucky enough to catch the tail end of it. MaryAnn recently joined a hip hop dance class right here in Yonabaru, and her crew had a performance at the Haebaru Jusco Monday night. Next time I hope to see her on stage poppin', lockin', and droppin' it like it's hot. That's what the kids call it now a days, right?

They might not ever be on an episode of America's Best Dance Crew (being based out of Japan and all), but this group we witnessed in Chatan not too long ago sure does have some talent.
