最もよい心配パッケージ (The Best Care Package Ever)

I've basically been wearing the same damn clothes for the past 6 years.

I didn't really mind it, at first. Back in DC, I had a regular 9-5 office job that required me to wear business casual during the week. When I came over here, I eventually got a job that required me to jump in and out of dress shirts, ties, and identical polo shirts bearing my eikaiwa's name. I really only got to wear my regular clothes on the weekends, but even then...the Okinawan weather took a toll on everything. My ties started getting random holes in them. My older t-shirts started getting random holes in them. My pants, already possessing holes that make peeing a less annoying task, also got holes in them. Even my poor, poor shoes fell victim to the hole plague. There were more gaping holes in my clothes than on the set of a porn movie. Then I got my current job, that allows me to wear whatever I want...but I got bored of that real fast when I realized I didn't have any many wearable clothes left.

I begged and I pleaded for my people in DC to send me stuff I had bought over there loooooooong ago...to no avail. Until a week ago, that is, when I finally was able to convince my dad that he really didn't want his son over in another country bearing his name and looking like a scraggly skate hobo.

Thanks, dad!
