My base has become more routine than it's ever been up to this point. I wake up in the mornings, ride to work, spend the next 8-10 hours glued to my computer, then go home. Occasionally I'll do something crazy like...go grocery shopping. If you've ever wondered why I went from updating this beloved (to me) blog o' mine every day to like...a handful of times a month, it comes down to an increased focus on work and lack of inspiration.
So to take care of the whole inspiration bit, I decided to head over to Shintoshin Park after work to take some pictures.
You always see people running around the park just as the sun comes up (before it gets insanely hot) and just as the sun goes down (when the temps start to slightly fall). A lot of my Okinawan friends really hate walking and will balk at the idea of taking a ten minute stroll down the street...but will have no problem training their asses off for a marathon...HMMMMMMM.
Surprise, surprise. There's a skatepark in the middle of the park park. I can't wait to one day be reunited with my skateboard again, especially now that summer is officially here and the weather is bombalicious deluxe. Hopefully it won't result in my other wrist being horribly broken in a freak accident.
I've always wanted to take a picture from this overpass looking down on Apple Town and Rakuichi.
I should go for quick, after work rides around the area more often.
