Every time I look up someone's balcony, two things come to mind. My mind first wanders way back to this time in class when Maki told us all a story about how, when she was a high school student in Miyako, some dude stole climbed up on to her balcony and stole her underwear (because Okinawans tend to wash and dry their clothes outside). Then I think about something Nodoka said when she moved to her new apartment recently:
"It's nice, but the balcony faces the street."
"And that's bad because..."
"What if people are looking at my underwear?"
Just how many panty thieves/gawkers are running around Okinawa, anyway?
And uh...for the record, I totally don't scope out balconies hoping to get a glimpse of underwear. That's what lingering in the women's lingerie section at San-A is for.
