暗闇 (Darkness)
This was me at the beginning of my ongoing beach craze...
...and this is me with Zile and Kudaka Jima last weekend. Notice anything different? Why yes, I am sporting a major tan the likes of which I haven't seen in forever. My friend and once again student, Aika, came into class the other day after not seeing me for a while and explained, "Wow! Kuroi (dark)!"
Sadly all this sunshine and frolicking in the sun has resulted in me receiving my second ever sunburn. I should have known after last year that the Okinawan sun was no joke...silly me. Thankfully it doesn't hurt, but my face is peeling so much you'd think I slapped a bottle full of glue on it and just let that shit dry before slowly ripping parts of it off.
Sunscreen, you and I are going to be bestest best friends.
