MaryAnn got these glasses in Hokkaido. They're even better than the ones DeWayne Wayne used to wear on A Different World. His glasses never made him look like a bootleg Mickey Mouse, after all.
Came across this golden bull statue while trying to find our hotel. It had this eerier True Blood vibe about it. Who builds a golden statue of a bull in the middle of nowhere unless they plan on sacrificing something to it, right?
Tetuhisa + Pringles = pure comedic gold. Just not the kind used to create the bull that sacrifices people. That is pure demonic gold.
Tetsuhisas is always trying to kidnap people in stolen, old ass bikes. And MaryAnn is usually the one to chase after him and stop him. That, my friends, is the circle of life.
My only ferry experience in the US was riding the Staten Island ferry eons ago to visit friends in that godforsaken place, so I was beyond shocked when I found out Japanese ferries are so radically different. There are areas where passengers are placed next to each other like sardines and get to rest on futons, boxy faux leather pillows, and burlap rugs. If I hadn't known any better I would have thought we were on the Amistad, but thankfully nobody got sold into slavery.
