HMS Mary Rose
Hi, me again. After returning from the Spinnaker tower we went to see the HMS Mary Rose. Very, very impressive exhibition who finally opened this year. Have a look at their homepage. The trailer shows a dog's skeleton (waggin its tail... awww...) that had been found in the remains.
You literally walk through the preserved half of the ship, the missing part is where you walk. They added the creaking sound of the planks below deck, on the upper deck it's the wind and the sea. A spot marks where the main mast once stood.
It is amazing to see what has been found. They also did reconstructions of the crew member's faces, because the skulls where found too... *shivers*
