Right-o. I shall be (trying to) drawing H.M.S Surprise, because am mad. I've only read the third book and I'm now reading the first book (which, of course, mentions nothing about our lovely Surprise), so I'm asking you, my fellow slashers, to please give me all your information about what kind of a frigate she was. Was the movie version accurate enough, so that if I use pictures of it, will it be fine and dandy? Everything and anything you know, please.
Like... How many masts? Er. Tops, I suppose I should say. I've no idea, I'm as bad with naval slang as Stephen is, and I have to translate it too!
