Life update
We got our move date: January 15. So we are frantically prepping the house to sell and soon after will begin the house hunt in our new city. And thank the blessed heavens above: it is a city. Of over a million people. Mom gave me some guidebooks for the new area, and I was drooling at all the advertisements for food and museums and everything else. I am very excited.
At the same time, I'm a bit sad to leave what I know behind knowing that I have to begin again. I love going to the spouses' functions, knowing all the people at them. And it's a great group of women I will leave behind. But if there's anything I'm good at, it's focusing on the present and future.
You'll also be proud of me to know that I've already looked into an MBA program in the new city. I have 'til June to apply for next Fall. So that gives me time to settle into the new place before I start studying for the GMAT. I have much to look forward to.
