I was sitting here at the computer, Molly in my lap, when Tiger decided she wanted in on the action. She put her paws up on the edge of the chair and promptly got a claw stuck. As I tried to free it for her, she freaked out and got another claw stuck. She tried to bite me when I tried again to help, because obviously this was somehow all my fault. ( Read more... )

Our chicken loved the warm weather. They spent a very happy day in our backyard. And then, they discovered dust baths. And it was like they'd discovered pot or opium. They were very happy chickens. The run has nice, dry dirt and after Jerry put them in there (they'd been lose in the yard all day) each of them dug their own little dust bath hole.

Do not leave the yarn dangling off the edge of the table. Molly WILL bite through both pieces, leaving some unplanned extra work for the knitted socks.

The most effective ways to call the Molly:

1. Call the dog.

2. Turn on the space heater. Within moments, you'll have a cat in your lap, stretching herself out to expose as much fur as possible to the heat.

3. Throw a cork on the floor.

The least effective way to call Molly:

1. "Molly! Mollllllyyyyy! Mooolllllyyyyyyyyyyyy!"
