I unexpectedly was given an excellent gift today. A four day weekend. Plans include:

*reading
*running
*hiking
*painting fence
*riding horses
*playing with youngsters
*playing with chicks
*laundry!
*brushing cats
*trimming dog’s nails
*picking up organic meat
*splitting meat with friends (we bought a whole cow)
*knitting
*cleaning house
*catching up on a hundred chores I’ve been neglecting
