I ave done a few short runs with
microphonemark over the past week and have been pain free. I have just been out for 30 minutes (2 and a bit laps). the first lap and a half were fine but then I started to get a dull ache in my knees. It was not like the sharp pain in my right knee that I had last time so it is an improvement. Both knees and then my hips started to ache, possibly due to running on tarmac. I had been advised to run on the grass to lessen the impact but it is so wet at the moment that I can't. I am looking forward to going to the running shop to have a running gait analysis and get a good pair of shoes. Hopefully that will sort out the problem. I might also go back on the glucosomine sulphate that I used to take when doing the long distance cycling. It didn't help much back then as I had a muscle imbalance not cartilage problems. I am however a firm believer in the power of placebo. So it will make me run fast, tirelessly and pain free! or else! *shakes fist*
