Ending of the day

Mar 15, 2007 00:08

Well today started with a nightmare about the funeral next week. It's impossible that it will come true, but it was still bad enough that I didn't want to go back to sleep even though I was still tired.

I was late to my lecture because I got caught up playing the games on linux, there are loads of them. Yes, I installed linux - it dual boots with windowz in case you were wondering. It appears to work okay, but I haven't tested XP since. I had to play around a lot and bugger about for nearly 2 hours tonight to get my Doc Martin DVD to play in linux, but it worked in the end. I wasn't going to let it beat me.

I got a Mother's Day present for Mum in town. I went in with Chris after the lecture. By jove he was annoying today. Not on purpose I don't think. Just a few little things he said really got to me. Mostly because I'm so tired all the time these days, but also because I overreact to every tiny thing. I nearly got upset at Sabrina, but she saw my face and explained and everything was okay.

I'm either really low and lonely (even in company) or I'm so tired I could be a zombie or I'm really happy and bouncy or silly.

Now *she* is on the phone talking quite loudly as usual. It's annoying because if she wasn't I'd already have gone to bed, about 30 mins ago. Instead I'm hoping she'll shut up soon so I don't have to sleep another night with ear plugs in. I'm sore all over my back, neck, shoulders and arms, I don't need uncomfortable ears too.

I have an assignment due on Friday. I haven't started it yet, I haven't felt in the mood because I'm always either far too happy or far too sad to do it. It's worth 7.5% of one module, so it's not a huge assignment, but it is tricky by all accounts. I will start it tomorrow. I only have one more lecture left this term and that's 11-12 tomorrow. So then I have until 5pm Friday to attempt this work. If I attempt most of the questions and get some points then I'll be satisfied. It's not like I've had it easy for the last week.
