it's been a long time my friend
Where to start?
Well we've completed on the house (16th March, also my birthday).
Since then we've had a phone line put in (if you ask I'll give it out to certain people), got broadband, got furniture, sorted my studio, demolished bits in the living room, "carpeted" under the chunks of the living room and many other things of course.
A few weeks ago, some of you noted, it was my 19th birthday. I've still not had a party. Probably won't now. That sort of upsets me. I did get to London to see Eqqus (starring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths) and meet up with cookie, ruthi, dom and Aq at the GreenMan!
The last couple of weeks I've been working in a photography studio in Ashton-Under-Lyne. That has left me with no energy when I got home and having to travel 3 hours a day to make tea & coffee and getting lunches for everyone.
Last week I got my invite to Manchester Met Uni to be interviewed for their Photography BA(Hons). I've confirmed my interview time and sent them everything they need before hand. Does however mean I need to spend the weekend getting my portfolio sorted and finding sketchbooks I want to take and finishing others and stuff. I also need to work out what to wear (and go buy it!) and get my hair sorted. I've got my hair appointment on Monday at 4pm. I'm having it re-dyed and "styled".
Now onto the sad bits. Atm my sister, nephew (and her ex) are going through a not quite nice time. They've recently lost a close friend and two family members are *very* ill. I'm still feeling a bit numb about it all.
On Monday I have an Ann Summers party starting at 8pm. Open invite to women (sadly men aren't allowed to come!).
I'm meant to have my Final Major Project really going by now. I've not touched it since before Easter. I'm not pleased with myself. I know what I need to get done, just need to get it done!
I'd best get my arse moving. I've got a lot of jobs to get done.
