C & I had lunch with MiG one day last week. Thursday evening, I went to Green Dragon’s house and he & Derek & I drummed in his front yard in the warm Spring sunshine. I dropped off Sue to get inspected and walked home. We had Friday off for Easter, so Lois came over and we found a few yard sales. She dropped me off to get Sue and I took stuff to the storage unit, then went to the optician I like a lot. I just got new glasses in January, but there is $ left on my health care card which will expire at the end of this month. Use it or lose it. We watched some Dexters.
Saturday Lois was busy so I went yard saling. I called a lady from work who is moving and found her house in west Salem. She had 4 cartons of books and her son donated a bunch of gaming stuff - Mechwarrior figurines, video games, collector cards, etc. She went over everything in detail so I was there for 2 hours! On Sunday I planted the nectarine tree in the back yard and dug weeds out of the garden patch until Lois brought over Chinese food for lunch. We watched some more Dexters and she met Sarah next door who might critter-sit for Lois while we go traveling. Then I planted 6 tomato plants and put 5 cages over them, planted beets beside them and sugar snap peas in the 2 planter boxes. I gave some of Purrvis’s uneaten cat candy to the yappy little dogs next door, trying to stop the white one from wanting to bite me. I gave some more to their cats, and the shy one actually came to me and took some!
