Moto and I have been savouring Twin Peaks piece by delicious piece. The episode in which Leland attacks Maddy must rank as one of the most intense pieces of television, even by today's standard. No soft-pedaling of the violence there.

And its the soundscape that strikes me as the most revolutionary part of the show. I don't think anything has sounded like Twin Peaks before or since.
