obligatory new year's post
so i'm just going to put it out there - 2008 was a rollercoaster of a year. there was a hell of a lot of change, not only in my life but in the lives of many people close to me, and i venture to say, the world in general.
some examples? well, let's think about some major events that can happen to change a person's life.
quitting my job? check.
moving to a new city? check.
finding a new job? check.
losing a loved one? check.
getting married? check.
these are all major upheavals, and they all happened this year. also, we got a new president, which is awesome. and obviously, not even most of those changes were bad - most were in fact very positive. i'm very grateful for all the good that has happened to me in 2008, it's really been a good year.
for 2009 i'd just like it to be a little calmer.
