Hobbie could never master the grin. The rest of the pilots who'd been around for a while, they were able to flash a quick Corellian half-grin without even so much as a second thought. True, it had taken Tycho a little while longer than the rest--and it still looked almost out of place on his face--but even the Alderaanian had taken it to heart. But Hobbie's lips refused to curl into the customary sneerish expression of joy and ego, and so instead he remained dour.
