Cloudfreak Prosperity - Suntoes Week One
The second and final starting family in my pixel_trade prosperity. Meet the Suntoes! The first week's challenge being the same for all households I got: 1.1 Uncontrollable Urges: designate one sim (and only one) that you can control for a sim week. All other sims cannot be checked on/controlled at any time for the duration of that week - not even to give them makeovers.
Starring:
Our Adult: Octavia Suntoes dark_moon689 - Family/Popularity LTW: Graduate 3kids from College Taurus who likes gentlemen with beards and employment, but not if they have black hair.
And her adopted children.
Teenager: Ash eleme - Pleasure/Romance LTW: Gamer Pisces who likes blondes and make up, but not cologne.

Monday:
So the Suntoes adopted children son Ash eleme and daughter Asili shelbster93 go off to school.
Leaving their mom Octavia dark_moon689 to deal with telemarketers.
As Ash comes home he finds his mother engaged in a frantic display of 'fix the townie' out front.
He makes a mental note to not let his mother try and give him a haircut after seeing the treatment Claudio dorkasaur_sims received.
Octavia tries again...
And tries to charm the properly made over local.
But the prospect of leaving his incredibly wealthy fiance and her powerful family for Octavia and her children makes Claudio nearly keel over from laughter. AN: Claudio is engaged to a Kjalarr.
Octavia contemplates the neighborhood, her life and nothing while she makes dinner.
Asili is perfectly content to watch television all day and night if she can get away with it.
Ash proves his maturity and possible OCD side by autonomously cleaning anything even remotely filthy.
Or going outside to sniff flowers constantly.
Sometimes skipping meals for it.
Only to come back after to clean.
Tuesday:
Asili after her mother asked her to 'get out and play'.
Asili has a bit of a conflicting personality. She wants a hug...
Or to dance, but she doesn't seem to enjoy it. <.<
Octavia gave up on trying to get Asili to play and instead went out with Ash to clean up before the local headmaster came...
Perhaps this could be perceived as a portent of doom...
But Octavia didn't let the stress of her burning willow tree stop her from greeting Headmaster Mohawk Acker.
Or her desperate need for a shower.
Or the burned dinner.
Somehow both her children were enrolled in his school.
And with the kids futures looking brighter Octavia started to hope she'd finally have time to find someone for herself.
Wednesday
A typical morning Octavia gets a phone call from her neighbor Romeo and leaves for an hour or so. Asili doesn't bother to take her eyes away from the television and Ash appears distracted by his own thoughts.
Later in the morning after she's come back Octavia meets another local Flynn telectroscope. They have two bolts...
Octavia's thoughts were distracted from her encounter with Romeo so she was perhaps slightly less observant than usual.
Though Flynn had a tendency to make it very obvious exactly what he was looking at.
Still Octavia found herself drawn to him. Maybe it was the scent of flowers...
'Ma'am that stinker over there says you've got some grade a boobs'.
And Octavia made it a mental point to make sure she'd speak to Ash about both his sniffing addiction and his friends.
Still love blossoms in the oddest places and Octavia asks Flynn inside so they can clear their heads.
Ash unaware of the impending doom is busy checking himself out in the mirror.
While Octavia uses the same impulsive instinct that caused her to adopt her two beloved children...
'Hey mom, do you know where Rickie went...?'
...
Ash kept his opinion about the type of men his mother likes to himself.
Though it was hard.
Very hard not to voice that opinion.
The expression on his mother's face was more than enough to shut him up.
While Asili on the other hand...
'Hey this is my bathtub! Do you hear me?! This is my tub and you're not allowed in it!'
Thursday:
Ash made an effort to be polite to his step-father during breakfast while Asili optioned for silence.
After the kids left for school it let the adults enjoy some quick alone time before Octavia left for her morning shift.
Flynn was home alone when Ash came home from school and showed that the animosity might not be one sided.
Easily squashing any chance of the two men bonding.
Ash started to think about getting a part time job and looking forward to graduation and college.
Now that Ash was out of the way Flynn could go back to stuffing his face...
Only to have Asili show up with her own A+...
And catching him in the act of raiding the fridge for snacks.
...
'Hey don't you think a sweet A+ like this deserves a reward, like a tv or something?'
Flynn tried to get his mind off the rocky relationship he'd developed with his step-children and prepare dinner...
Friday:
Which Octavia got to sample first when she woke up from her nap. Unfortunately.
Asili was enjoying her new tv and Ash was in the corner lost in his own thoughts again.
Octavia soon discovered why she'd been feeling so tired, but with Flynn also wanting to send three children through college this baby would round out their family nicely.
And possibly smooth over the transition lines.
'Mom tell Flynn to stop painting on my easel! That's my easel!'
'Mom's going to get right on that honey.'
While Asili decided she needed to save the upstairs bathtub from all interlopers as well.
And Ash didn't wish to be around the spectacle.
'So the three bears...'
'Find one about getting rid of an evil step-father!'
And later Asili continued her attempts to thwart Flynn whenever possible.
Saturday:
Octavia tries to get the ball rolling by having a fun family morning...
But ultimately doesn't have the strength finding herself strangely lethargic and sleeps in for most of the day.
Sunday:
'MOM! ASH IS IN MY BATHROOM!'
The usual calls are heard as Flynn and Octavia enjoy a game of chess.
Flynn is secretly happy it wasn't him in the bathroom and Ash distracts his sisters impending temper tantrum.
Later that morning...
Asili rushes in to watch.
But is soon bored with the arrival of her little brother Marco.
Octavia asks her if she'd like to see the baby, but Asili is busy watching anything but more intruders in her house.
Octavia quickly finds Flynn and deposits Marco's twin brother Vasco with him.
So she can welcome triplet Leticia to the household.
Flynn and Ash frantically move furniture out from Octavia's bedroom to make room for the badly needed cribs...
And Octavia welcomes final son Tiago to the household. Naming scheme being Portuguese since that's what I am and it's what popped into my head when I was looking for a naming scheme. And Octavia would be a hot Cape Verde woman.
An addition is quickly added to the back of the house and the reality of having quadruplets hits Octavia. Asili is shocked at no longer being the baby and Ash has taken up the task at hand with aplomb while Flynn continues to build needed additions and purchase supplies.
Ash continues to autonomously help the elderly lady the locals employ as a nanny while the rest of the family is busy.
Even going so far as to tuck in each of his siblings.
Later that evening after the first wave of insanity has passed it's time for Asili's transition.
Asili has rolled Knowledge/Romance and a desire to be a Criminal Mastermind. She also finds herself partial to greying men in their underwear as long as they're unemployed.
Flynn tries to convince Octavia that since they have four what's one more...
And Ash leaves the household to start college where we'll see him next week.
That's it! Next week more pregnancies! Asili goes through her terrible teens, the quadruplets grew into children and we follow Ash through his own adventures in college and setting up his own household.
The plan is for Ash and Asili to make their own households making Marco (having been first to come out) the heir to this household. :D
